NOTTINGHAM, England — April 7, 2017 — Hayssen Flexible Systems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller family, is pleased to announce it will host imPACKED 2017 at its manufacturing facility in Nottingham 12-16 June 2017. This is the United Kingdom’s largest in-house packaging machinery event, offering attendees the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the latest in packaging technology from all types of food processors and distributors.
Throughout the week, Hayssen will showcase various innovative machines, including a value system for frozen foods, featuring the brand-new VERUS intermittent vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machine, which will be integrated with a Yamato Alpha Advance weigher. This hygienic system is suitable for harsh/wet environments, directly addressing customer needs in the fresh and frozen food industries.
Additional displays at the event will include Hayssen’s Novus high-speed Doy system, which will be packing snacks, a Novus VFFS zipper machine with a Yamato Omega scale, and a Rose Forgrove Integra wet-wipe flow-wrapping line. Attendees also will be able to tour Hayssen’s Technical Centre and get an up-close look at the company’s unique remanufactured equipment programme, with machines that are rebuilt and upgraded by the manufacturer “as new” with a full warranty.
Many OEM co-suppliers have joined the event and will be exhibiting the entire week, including:
- Accraply – Labeling equipment
- BW Container Systems – Robotics, buffering/accumulation, conveyance technology, palletizers and pasteurizers
- Thiele Technologies – Bag-filling and large-format baggers

“Typical trade shows are rushed and impersonal. We want to understand our customers’ needs and goals on a more personal level, and our in-house imPACKED event makes that possible,” said Tony Crofts, Sales and Marketing Director for Hayssen in Nottingham. “Our OEMs always show strong interest in partnering with us for this event.”
Food processors and distributors can sign up to attend for free online at impacked2017.com. Registration is currently open.
