Green Bay, Wis. — October 5 2015, — PCMC, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of in-line presses, is pleased to announce that Fort Dearborn Company recently installed the new ELS-Max mid-range inline flexographic press in its Elk Grove, Ill. facility.

The ELS-Max is a fully gearless flexographic printing press that offers flexible design, high-speed production capabilities and quick changeovers, and is available in 24," 28" and 32” widths. Able to run up to 1000 FPM, the ELS-Max offers all the features that are capable on wide web CI presses. This unique machine utilizes both plate and anilox sleeves, and PCMC-designed force loaded doctor blade chambers intended for fast, constant running with extended doctor blade life. This press has combined the best technologies from both inline and wide web CI presses, resulting in a press that provides superior web handling and registration. Advanced features and innovative design allow this machine to quickly change press parameters for optimal efficiency on many materials.
